With the growing popularity of achievements and awards on services like games for windows live and kongregate, and the fact that almost all games that come out now have their own set of special awards or achievements that you can gain.

The 2010 contest is in its final week!

I will prepare something last minute and special for all ego-one members on the weekend starting saturday.

As you don't know once in a while staff of the ESF are allowed to beta test the updates before they happen!

the set of updates that are scheduled for this week are going to have a large impact on the forum!


Yes there are a few awesome updates, one has really made my day... but after examining the template editing fields I see a load of new extra coding that either will or will not appear on TLG.

Since Tealeaf Graphics has to be on top of its game all the time I have decided to implement an old dream of mine.


So this is stage one of the transformation. As soon as I code and test the next stage more will be installed.

Using multi forum version 2,0 ... I have created a totally new method of displaying forums. It also has posts recognition ... something that was lacking in my first version of the multi forum.

I have successfully returned from my long awaited and deserved vacation. I see the forum is A ok even though there was a lack or superior staff during a 5 day period.

Well after a pain staking 2 hour table marathon, I have completed part 1 of the template editing tutorial.


I have created a quick reference table view sheet of variables from the template index_body. I am slowly working on a more indepth tutorial about how to use regions, how to edit them, and what modules work in which regions of the forum. You can't simply transfer portal templates to forum templates.
So that is coming, but very slowly.

I'm also engaged with my new buddy Ankillien with some CSS3 tuts.

Well you guys where introduced to the monsters yesterday, So I'll explain some of the new addons we have this month.


Wallpaper Section


I have created a new section for wallpapers. Anybody that makes walls and wishes to display them and get them broadcast to the world should spend sometime in the forum.

I have dumped my recent FireFOX campaign walls there for all to use. For testjal Supporters I'll prepare some tagged walls for you.

Well as some may have noticed, we have a new usergroup.
Tilum, one of my administrators , concocted a genius surprise that almost gave me a heart attack. But thats Tilum for ya.

The new usergroup is for premium customers... those that have bought themes or pages either on premiumstyles or on this test forum. The users have mod powers , but that is only to view the forum as a whole. I do not expect the theme purchasers to start moderating on this test forum, but if these rights will be abused so will thier permissions.

Well as you may have noticed testjal has undergone a transformation...
I have created a brand new homepage... something more attractive.


The future of testjal is also looking down a new barrel ... this barrel will not have gun powder filled shells in it, but apples.
I have decided to move testjal forward... to set up a graphics information board.

TestjalCSS's theme is 90% complete.

I completed most IE fixes today.
It was a long battle, and very surprising. But designers will know exactly what i mean, especially when it comes to IE fixes.

I learnt something new today...
for IE ... margin-bottom , is in fact margin-top ... oooh yes.
when I set a margin bottom it moved the content up towards the margined down div. so i figured I'll change to margin-top... and guess what it went the correct way.
??? I had to do the rest via mirror images
the nav bar was positioned at 120px margin top ... for IE...

Forumotion has given out a new update to our forums.
My test site has removed the improvised thanks button and replaced it with the original.
The points and reputation system has been installed on this forum for testing purposes.


I believe the update has finally become ironed out, only a few matters remain.
Though my time is limited, I shall try to help with any theme problems that may have aroused.
