Unknown ... everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

There are even users on ego-one that use IE and are proud of it.
Not all css3 codes are stable and compatible and I know about that very well ... and it is a risky factor that I add to the site.

nonethless some scripts work better on Chrome... while other work better on Firefox... others on pera

Firefox is used by majority of users. The poll shows more than 50% say there is a problem. So would anyone like to turn away 50% of active users? Probably not.

I dont think people would leave just because of a laggy sidebar....

Well i did not say they will leave. Its a turn off thats all i can say. For me it was, i am glad it has been removed. Don't know what others think of it.
